Job Title: : *IFRS Team Lead* Duration: *1 Year * Rate: *($50/ Hr) All Inclusive* Industry: Oil & Gas Job Location: *Canada* Technical/Functional: *Technical* Required Skills: RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead coordinator (key point of contract) for Calgary implementation of *IFRS *conversion project. • Status reporting on all Calgary projects to Calgary management and IFRS project management. • Understand the 'big picture' of the IFRS project and how each individual project plan in Calgary fits into the overall project. • Coordinate and provide guidance to other IFRS Calgary full-time project team resources. • Coordinate the review and revision of existing accounting principles and procedures and the development and implementation of new accounting principles and procedures arising from the IFRS conversion. • Primary Calgary liaison with E & Y (external service provider on IFRS conversion). • Develop effective working relations with key stakeholders in the IFRS conversion project. • Promptly raise issues to Calgary management and IFRS project management. • Provide technical assistance to accounting and disclosure issues. • Monitor and research industry development related to IFRS conversion and proposed changes to IFRS conversion and proposed changes to IFRS that will impact the organization's conversion. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's Degree and professional accounting designation with at least four years experience and strong *Canada GAAP* knowledge • Strong *IFRS *knowledge and practical experience with *IFRS * • Ability to work in a team environment and lead group meetings effectively • Effective written and verbal communication and organization skills • Capable of handling multiple objectives ad deadlines • Good analytical skills • Strong attention to detail and proven ability to provide accurate and timely analysis • Ability to remain flexible and adjust timelines and plans accordingly DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: •* SAP accounting *experience • Experience with rate regulated accounting and reporting Regards Shiv Javaji System Solutions Inc.
