Kindly find the job description given below and reply me back with your available consultants for this position.* * * *Your quick response will be highly appreciated.* *Job Title: Performance Engineer * *Rate: $**40/hr on c2c * *Location: Herndon, VA * * *** * US CITIZENS ONLY* *Job Description * Work Experience Candidate must have a sound understanding of a windows environment and will be responsible for systems support, performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning, application support and optimization. Candidates *must* have several years hands on experience not only installing and tuning but also trouble-shooting IIS (5.0/6.0/7.0) performance/scalability problems on Internet facing web farms/clusters. Candidate must be well versed with memory management techniques for SQL Server 2005/2008. Candidate must understand the memory management model used within ASP.NET and should be comfortable with tweaking parameters to maximize performance, reliability and scalability. Candidate will be required to analyze/review both legacy code written in VB/ASP/COM+ as well as newer technologies like ASP.NET and Web 2.0 to identify and recommend changes to increase reliability and performance. *Education and Training* • Extensive experience in monitoring/analyzing and improving performance/scalability on a live web enabled production system written using Microsoft technologies and hosted using IIS 5.0/6.0/7.0. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems analysis, information systems management, software engineering, mathematics or related discipline.
