Position: Datastage developer with heavy Java, Struts Location: Jersey City, NJ Duration: 3 Month + Job Description: Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications. Develops block diagrams and logic flowcharts. Translates detailed design into computer software. Codes, tests, debugs, maintains and refines the computer software to produce the required product. Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user- level documentation. Enhances software to reduce operating time and improve efficiency Technical skills and abilities: Experienced developing and implementing ETL solutions. 3-5 years of IBM Datastage experience , V-8 parallel job experience preferred. Hands on experience with -- JAVA, Javascript, HTML, DHTML, XML Experience with AIG-CAFE framework and Struts experience a plus. Knowledge and experience working with Oracle Relational Databases. Extensive knowledge in SQL programming / Stored Procedures (Oracle PL/ SQL) V-9I or greater. Must have extensive technical skills in Unix and shell scripting environment. Strong analytic, problem solving, and collaborative skills Strong data modeling skills (Normalized and Multidimensional for Data Marts, including Star Schema, Snow-Flake Modeling, Fact and Dimensional Modeling Participates in on-call, overnight off-hour production problem resolution activities when required.
