* Location: San Diego , CA LOCALS PREFERED The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing business application and system needs while working with various levels of end users to create specifications for systems and applications, coordinating ISD Projects with management, users, ISD staff and vendors. The Business Systems Analyst serves as a project team member responsibility for assigned project duties relating to: application and system installation and implementation; formulates system scope and design objectives through analysis and research to configure vendor maintained systems or develop and modify in house systems, assists with coordination efforts of users ISD Staff, and vendors. The Business Systems Analyst performs research and analysis, prepares assigned project deliverables, and detailed specifications from which vendor systems will be programmed/configured, and provides process and workflow analysis. The Business Systems Analyst responsibilities include, assigned duties related to project analysis and planning, small to medium implementation projects, along with the daily operational activities associated with the assigned systems, applications and projects. The Business Systems Analyst supports the overall business/project plan by providing deliverables as a project team member to meet project/team performance and outcomes relative to established project goals/measurements. *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Care Administration, Business, or equivalent experience, required Must be a technical expert in area subject matter demonstrated by documented experience in analysis, research, and installation of software applications/systems Minimum of five years in programming and systems analysis with proven prior experience in systems/ application process and workflow analysis, application/system analysis, programming and experience working on project team(s) Must have installed a minimum of one computer based hospital system and actively performed the following: process and workflow analysis, systems/applications analysis, project lifecycle implementation with in depth experience and training in a minimum of four discreet major projects Must possess skills and experience in oral and written communications, including analysis documentation, project management deliverables and documentation, application/systems specifications, project preparation, risk identification and escalation, and report presentation Must possess five years experience in system analysis and programming, *health care systems administration, financial and/or clinical systems support and maintenance* as well as general knowledge of major health care information issues Must have proven experience in being able to communicate, motivate and organize projects among a broad spectrum of hospital personnel, frequently under deadline pressure Must have five years experience in *Hospital Information Systems* software application support, commercial health care programming experience, clinical and financial applications support and troubleshooting Other software support, troubleshooting and development is highly preferred Strong customer service and team focus is required Effective verbal and written communications skills Critical thinking and analytical skills , strong problem solving skills Strong computer skills Must be able to work under pressure, following a plan and balancing competing requests by priority High level of integrity and trust Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required Strong customer service and team focus is required *PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Experience in cross-functional business and application knowledge Knowledge of process/workflow engineering Epic or Meditech Application experience highly preferred Self-motivated and self directed with capability to work independently **** *Thanks and Regards,* *Jenson*** *Technical Recruiter* *Sedna Consulting Group* *fax- 609 228 4366* *Voice : 609 632 0201* *Email id : [email protected]* *Web : www.sednacg.com.com <http://www.sourceonets.com/>* *Yahoo IM: **jenson_sednacg*** *Note: This email is not intended to be a solicitation.
