Basis Experience •Must have done Multiple R/3 ECC Installations. •BI, SCM experience required •Must have worked on Solution Manager •Must have experience managing Onsite-Offshore Basis Support •Must have worked on L1, L2, L3 Support Models Supervise Project and Single Point of Contact for customer Audit Reports Deploy Automation where possible Part of all review meetings with the customer •Must be able to come up with the Staffing Plan and skills required •Must Operationalize the Managed Services Plan •Must define activities to be done Onsite and Offshore and segregate duties and issues into L1, L2, L3 Provide Reporting Templates and activites to Record in Provide Escalation Plan •Provide Overall Basis Support framework •Must Have Excellent Communication •Skills Must be Basis Certified and any other certifications will be advantageous. •Tax Terms only on W2 or 1099 [ No C2C] Job Description : FUNCTION STATEMENT The SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for the day to day support, monitoring and maintenance of the SAP environments from a Basis (Technical) perspective. These responsibilities include applying OSS notes and Support Packages, maintaining and monitoring batch processing, performance monitoring and tuning, applying patches, kernel and maintaining the z/OS system along with DB2. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES o SAP Basis Administration of the SAP Systems (ERP6.0 / Solution Manager 7 / EP / APO / CRM / BI 7 / DB2 V9 on z/OS / USS / AIX) o Monitoring o Daily operations o Printer Management o Performance Tuning, Parameter Setting (SAP and Database) o Apply Bug Fixes and Support Packages (SAP and Database) o Troubleshooting o Support the Application Developers o Plan, organize and perform (technical part) of release changes o Manage SAP authorizations o Controlling SAP transports o SAP Basis Administration of SAP System o Monitoring CCMS alerts, system logs, abap dumps, update and lock errors. o Perform Batch scheduling and Batch job monitoring o Manage transport changes requests between DEV, QAS and PRD. o Research and apply OSS notes and Support Packages as needed o Monitor month end / quarter end / year end activities o User support - Help users with technical issues regarding SAP (i.e. - trouble shooting printing issues o User administration/security: activity groups, profile generator, user authentication and tracing. o Maintain security for SAP users in all environments o Support continuing SAP implementation projects REQUIREMENTS o 5+ years of SAP Basis Administration. o Profound and practical knowledge of day-to-day R/3 Basis Administration (Transport System, Troubleshooting, Support Pack & Patch Implementation) o Should have done at least 2-3 Full SAP Project Lifecycles o Knowledge of z/OS, USS, AIX, DB2 o Experience with Netweaver J2EE o Flexible working hours including some nights and weekends. o New Dimension Products e.g. CRM, BI. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "DIRECT CLIENT IT NEED" group.
