We have the following J2EE/Weblogic Senior Software Engineer *full-time position* in* Long Island (Babylon), NY**.* The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for Design, Implementation, Configuration and Testing of software applications required for a web based content delivery platform. This position requires a self starter with strong technical skills and the ability to work well independently and in a group. The successful candidate must take the initiative and be able to proactively suggest and set technical direction for the team. Must have at least 7 years experience implementing the full software development life cycle. Additionally, 5 years designing and developing Java/J2EE enterprise applications is a requirement. Responsibilities include: Code, Design, Implementation, Configuration and Testing of software applications required for delivering a web based Content Delivery Platform. Must be able to document architecture, design, and code the implementation following OO and J2EE best practices. Responsible for following the full development lifecycle process, using best practices for source control, unit testing, and application deployment.
