Job Title: Training & Placement Coordinator

 

Job Description:

 

Coordinate Training Programs

*       Maintain database of enquiries and trainees
*       Administer enrollment forms and procedures, check Trainee Agreements
*       Maintain records of all batches, trainee attendance and progress
through course
*       Source and maintain course materials and software
*       Maintain communication with trainees before, during and after
training
*       Liaise with network administrator to ensure facilities ready for
trainees (e.g. user ID's etc created).

 

Market Training Programs

*       Use email, cold calling and creative techniques to reach target
audience and recruit trainees.
*       Deal with enquiries to the training center and convert enquiries
into sign-ups

 

Provide Career Counseling Services

*       Counsel potential trainees in person or on the phone in order to
help them identify their career objectives, and recommend training courses
appropriate for their background.
*       Counsel current trainees to ensure they have a positive training
experience and to help prepare them for industry
*       Collect feedback from trainees and work to resolve any issues they
may have with the training or accommodation

 

Coordinate Placement Services

*       Create e-groups for each training batch
*       Send sample resumes to trainees who will be going through the
Placement service
*       Work with trainees and instructors to collect final resumes from all
trainees
*       Provide trainees with support and feedback on their resume
*       Work with Account Managers and Clients to get trainees placed
*       Provide feedback to trainees on their progress through the placement
service
*       Negotiate benefits packages and rates with trainees
*       Ensure agreements and paperwork is up to date and completed by all
trainees
*       Maintain database of trainee submissions and interviews

 

Skills Needed: 

*       Computer skills include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook email
and calendaring. 
*       The preferred candidate will have excellent communication skills,
easy going, positive personality and good people skills.
*       2+ Years of Experience as a Training Coordinator preferred.
