*       This is an 8 month contract in Richardson, TX.  
*       Seeking local DFW consultants or you must be willing to pay for all
relocation and lodging expenses.  
*       Rate is $50.00 all inclusive.  

*The Manager is seeking a candidate in the Dallas-Forth Worth area. If they
are not local to DFW they must be willing/able to relocate themselves to
this location.

IP Telephony SME 

 

Project Description:
(What project will the contractor be working on?) 
They are seeking a contractor to hire candidate for this opening. 

 

Candidate will provide support for large (7200+ seat) Cisco AVVID
environment; candidate will provide technical leadership and support for
migration from version 3.x to version 7.x environment. 

 

Role may require night and weekend work to avoid impacting customer
production network. 

 

Job Description:
(What will the contractor do on that project?) 
. This position is considered a subject matter expert in IP Telephony with
strong Call Manager and Unity skills. 
. Candidate should be very comfortable presenting to groups, leading
discussions or driving an agenda of meetings with customers on various
topics related to networking, IP routing, switching or Telephony. 
. Support network convergence projects with an in-depth knowledge of IP
telephony and Voice over IP. Plan, design, and implement solutions for our
clients. 
. Support consulting project activities from client identification through
final invoicing. 
. Fulfill billable consulting service projects. 
. Act as the subject matter expert within a specific discipline. 
. Lead an engagement team, consisting of other Consultants or contribute as
the sole consulting resource. 
. Identify technical problems, create system architecture definitions,
hardware/software specifications and/or designs, implement, test, conduct
client training, and deploy systems. 
. Consult on strategic, business requirement definitions, gap analysis,
solution framing, and high-level cost analysis. 
. Mentor or coach clients and team members. 
. Create recommendations and implement new methods, techniques and /or
procedures.  
SKILLS  Skill Experience Need 
1) 10 yrs. exp minimum; 5+ in IPTel Expert Required 
2) CCNP, CIPT certs Expert Required 
3) CallManager, Unity, VoIP (VG & GK), QoS Expert Required 
4) Strong familiarity with Cisco configuration tools Intermediate Required 
5) Knowledge of PBX and Call Center environments Intermediate Desired 
6) Emerging network technologies and protocols Intermediate Desired 
7) Accurate/organized technical documentation skills Expert Required 
8) Strong verbal and written communication skills Expert Required 
9) IPCC, C/C++, Java Script, XML, XSLT. Perl Intermediate Desired 
10) Subsidiary voice systems (e.g., CER) Intermediate Required
