Please provide me your skill set as well - Technology No of year rating (out of 10) Oracle Apps Technical Pl/SQL Java /XML /SOAP /Javascript /Ruby Oracle EBS Oracle standard API's and interfaces Location: Harrisonburg, VA Duration: 1 year Title: Oracle Apps Technical Start Date: ASAP Rate - $60/hr (all inclusive) SENIOR ORACLE APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER The Senior Oracle Applications Developer's role is to design, develop, and implement organizational software applications and business integrations. This position will also require support for planning, development, and implementation of database environments and integrations both domestically and internationally. This individual will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems. RESPONSIBILITIES: . Develop and deploy new applications, systems, software, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise including Oracle ERP applications software (Oracle E-Business Suite), tax processors, credit card processors, licensing and tracking systems, distribution centers, customer and data warehouses, and other systems as required by the business . Mentor and guide more junior developers through code review sessions, cross training activities, and general day to day interactions . Author and maintain documentation for all development work . Identify and promote best practices and patterns for logical data modeling, and provide oversight for all activities related to data cleansing, data quality and data consolidation using standard data modeling methodologies and processes . Participate in creating developmental guidelines and procedures and be responsible for maintaining, developing, administering and implementing policies/procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the company's business systems . Other duties as assigned POSITION REQUIREMENTS: . Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL and at least two of the following: Java, XML Development, Perl, PHP, Ruby on Rails, SOAP, Javascript . Extensive experience tuning PL/SQL and or SQL for efficient performance . Knowledge of database design and file management techniques in an Oracle DB environment . Knowledge of web based technologies and transfers utilizing HTTP, XML, SOAP, FTP, and SMTP . Basic knowledge of UNIX command line tools . Strong working knowledge and / or willingness to learn Oracle EBS development tools including Oracle Workflow Builder, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms and Oracle Discoverer . Strong working knowledge of Oracle standard API's and interfaces used to import data into Oracle Applications is a plus . General technical knowledge and / or willingness to learn in the following areas: database solutions/tools, design, clustering/replication/warehousing, scripting, in multiple database arenas . Strong customer-service orientation including excellent written and oral communication skills in the English language . Excellent listening and interpersonal skills along with the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language . Strong analytical and problem solving abilities .
