*Project Performance Period*: Start: May 26th 2009; End: April 27th 2010
*Job Description*: The Siebel Developer will be responsible for designing,
developing and producing technical specifications for the Client Siebel
application under the direction of the Siebel configuration lead. In
addition to documentation, the Developer will be responsible for developing
and testing Siebel repository objects to meet Client business needs.
· Primary Task: Designing, developing and testing Siebel repository
objects using Siebel tools and Siebel client to meet business and technical
requirements.
· Secondary Task: Provide knowledge transfer to the Client
maintenance and operations team for post go-live support.
*Technical Skills Required*:
· BS or BA in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or
equivalent work experience
· Requirements gathering, detail design, test and deployment of
Siebel objects and components
· Build and test Client Siebel objects and components based on
technical requirements
· Experience with Siebel workflow, business services and eScripts
· Minimum of 3-5 years experience configuring Siebel objects and
components including business objects, business components, screen, views
and applets
· Siebel Certification (7.x and up)
· Strong oral, written and communication skills
· Analytical skills to diagnose and resolve software and basic
application issues
* **Other Skills*:
· Oracle database knowledge and administration is a plus
· Candidate must be able to work effectively across multiple teams
· Knowledge of other Siebel functionality including data validation
manager, runtime events and rules engine is a plus
· Experience working in an 8.x environment is a plus
Experience with Siebel upgrade is a plus
· Experience with VBC’s and EBC’s a plus
