We are looking for a Senior System Administrator (IBM Websphere) who will be responsible for maintaining and updating all existing Web systems (Internet/Intranet/Extranet) that employ scalable-advanced technologies. This key individual will be responsible for integrating Web systems with existing systems, enabling the creation of new Web enterprises or expanding business onto the Web. You will be working with the operations staff (UNIX, DBA, etc.), IT management, and vendors in resolution of highly complex technical problems ***********************MUST HAVE************************* --IBM WebSphere Application Server 6.0/6.1 --DB2 7.x/8.x --Oracle 10g --IBM HTTP Server 6.x/1.3.x/2.0.x --Either AIX / RED HAT LINUX / Solaris / UNIX --IBM Tivoli Directory Server 5.1 --Tivoli Performance Viewer --HTML --Java Script --XML --Jacl --Jython --Shell Scripting --JSP --Servlets --Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or Engineering --5-7 years experience with IBM Websphere --Websphere installation, maintenance, monitoring, and support in a 24X7 environment. --FTP --MS Office Suite --MS Excel --MS Visio --MS Project --MS Word --PL/SQL --Perlscript --Toad --AJAX --Web Services --ASP --Javascript *************************NICE TO HAVE******************************** IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Application Server, Network Deployment V6.1 Responsibilities: --Install, configure and maintain Application Server 6.0 ND and create Dmgr and Application server profiles. --Make the Application secured according to the company and customer standards on Sun SOLARIS and AIX platforms for Dev, Test and Prod environments. --Implement WebSphere Workload Management using horizontal and vertical clustering techniques. --Install and Configure WAS 6.1 base/ ND and create cell, Dmgr and AppServer profiles on AIX and RED HAT LINUX platforms. --Install necessary fix packs and cumulative fixes on WAS 6.0/6.1 --Implement IHS Web Server WLM using F5 load balancers. --Work with developers to define/configure application Servers, Virtual Hosts, Web Applications, Web resources, JDBC drivers and deployment of EJBs across multiple instances of WebSphere. --Perform regular backups of the deployed applications. --Configure global security in WebSphere using LDAP. --Install EAR*s, WAR*s and configured application specific JVM settings, Web container parameters using the Admin Console and wsadmin scripts. --Enable Security and Configured SSL on Web Server. --Create Self-Signed Certificates and create Certificate Requests through Ikeyman and sent it to Verisign and deploy the new certificates sent by Certification Authorities into the environment. --Develop Jython, Shell scripts to automate the maintenance process of the WebSphere Application servers and managed the backup/restore of Deployment Manager Configurations. --Mapp the LDAP users and groups to J2EE security roles of the application module running on WebSphere Application Servers. --Work on troubleshooting applications using WAS logs, traces, Log Analyzer, Resource Analyzer/Tivoli Performance Viewer (TPV). --Use Wily Introscope extensively to determine application bottlenecks to dig-out which modules are consuming excessive resources. --Assist QA team for Load and Stress testing of J2EE applications. --Troubleshoot Dmgr start-up issues, Java code defects after deployment, and class path issues by checking the JVM logs, plug-in logs and the web server logs. --Provide 24/7 support for assigned applications. --Work on problem tickets (PMRs) with IBM to find effective solutions to various problems and performance issues and applied various WebSphere system related patches, fixes. --Perform routine maintenance of WebSphere Environment like monitoring Disk Space, CPU Utilization. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "DIRECT CLIENT IT NEED" group.
