*Urgent Requirement for Business Analyst with State Project Experience* Boston, 6 Months Our client intends to hire an experienced Business Analyst. Working closely with the staff (environmental engineers, scientists, planners, etc), the Business Analyst will gather business requirements, document the requirements, and translate into proper system requirement specifications. The Business Analyst will produce documents in concert with Project Managers, application developers, and quality assurance staff leading to the design, test, and support of applications and systems that are critical to the Goals. Preferred Work Experience: Candidates must have a proven background in IT Project Analysis and delivery of successful projects. Candidates must also be highly motivated, flexible, an exceptional communicator (both written and oral). Good listening skills are essential. The Candidate must have demonstrated experience in collecting and writing business requirements, including depicting complex workflows using Visio or comparable software, and mapping documents. The capability to translate complex business needs into use case models is preferred as is the knowledge of business process analysis and re-engineering using methodologies such as agile and RUP. Excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to work well with others in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment are required. Preferred candidates should demonstrate strong leadership aptitude, and they should be self-directed, results-oriented and customer-focused. The ability to lead end user focus sessions to gather requirements is a must. The desired candidate should be able to pursue tasks with a minimum of supervision and deliver quality work on time.
