Location: Atlanta Full Benefits Will pay Relocation Package and interview reimbursement Without JOINT COMMISSION STANDARDS environment / experience / familiarity the customer is not accepting any resumes INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST Atlanta GA Fulltime Permanent Job Description Responsible for establishing and maintaining infrastructure security policy, standards and practices; perform and lead development of enhancements of security event collection; provide leadership for security incident investigation. Additional responsibilities include researching new technology, risk assessment, and vulnerability mitigation. Other duties include leading security infrastructure for fault recognition and security vulnerabilities, implementation of technology and systems, and contributing to establishing and maintaining security standards using best practices. Provide documentation of infrastructure security environment and activities. Educate organization and drive compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission, Corporate Integrity and Compliance Program policies. INFORMATION SERVICES (40 hrs./week; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm / M-F). Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline. Experience in systems, security and network administration, with at least two (2) years of experience in IT Security. Demonstrated experience with system support and administration. Demonstrated experience with IT security factors. Demonstrated strong verbal and written communications skills. Ability to design and recommend solutions or processes. Working knowledge of one or more of the following specific abilities: Oracle skills, DB2, MS SQL, PL/SQL skills, Crystal Reports, Solution Design Methodology Management, Security Policy Implementation, Security Auditing, Security based applications, Security Hardening Techniques for Servers and Desktops, Network Scanning Tools, Protocol scanners, Security Devices (VPNs, Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers, Source Fire, etc.), Wireless Networking Security, etc. Previous HIPAA and Joint Commission experience is preferred.
