for quick review. * * * *Job Title : SAP Basis* *Location : Houston, TX* *Duration :** 6 months* MUST HAVE Integration 2 SAP application Experience/ Any mergers between the Companies Experience: Job Title: SAP BASIS Technologist - Expert Detailed Job Description This position is part of the SAP Basis group reporting into the Global ERP Applications technical support department. This position is responsible for supporting the SAP infrastructure (R/3, CRM, BW, EP, etc.), bolt ons, and integration points throughout the following environments; Production, Test, and Development. Responsibilities include: • Provide technical leadership in the areas of the SAP core R/3 system and associated applications for enhancements and project delivery. • Provide technical support expertise in: BI 7.0, APO, and NetWeaver Java. This means that the candidate must be able to install, configure, and support the applications at the highest level. • Work as part of a project team to design, build and run upgrades or enhancements in relation to the associated technology assigned (depending on candidate’s expertise as mentioned above). • Transition maintenance and monitoring activities of the supported application to the SAP Operational Support team to ensure reliability and availability by providing appropriate documentation. • Monitor system health and troubleshoot system issues to ensure high performance and reliability as a 3rd level support expert. • Be available 24/7 while in the primary on-call position Must have experience and understanding in the following areas: o SAP ECC o BI 7.0, APO or Net weaver /Java technologies. o Microsoft technologies including Server 2000/2003/XP, SQL 2003/2005 (advanced knowledge of working with Microsoft OS is strongly preferred) o General knowledge of network technologies o Working as part of a team in large Enterprise systems. • Must demonstrate strong skills in the following areas: o Technical Leadership (independent worker, results oriented) o Detail and systemic thinking o Written and oral communication o Technical organization and troubleshooting o Issue resolution and risk mitigation o Commitment to follow standards • The following skills and experience are a plus: o EP, APO, PI, SCM, SRM, Adobe, Archiving, IXOS, BSI TaxFactory, Vertex, Solutions Manager, Learning Solution, GTS, and/or other SAP bolt-ons o Support SAP on Microsoft SQL infrastructure o Scripting and automation technology and processes o Monitoring tools such as Microsoft MOM, Tidal Software, NetIQ Application Manager, Mercury o Batch scheduling solutions such as Opcon or Redwood o Experience working for a manufacturing company Akbar Groupware Solutions, Inc 1553 Route 27 Suite 3700 Somerset, NJ 08873 Direct : 732-348-5602 --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "DIRECT CLIENT IT NEED" group.
