Contract Plano, TX (MUST BE LOCAL) Written test required. MUST BE LOCAL - NO LAYERS!! This is not a .NET software development role. This is an embedded C# Mobile development role. I do not have specifics on rates at the moment. Please let me know what competitive market rates you are seeing. * We are looking for a Sr. Application Developer with an extensive background developing for mobile devices. Your background must include embedded development in C# and WinCE. Heavy background in OOA/OOD. As a Development Engineer supporting development work on WinCE 5.0 and 6.0 OS platforms. These platforms hosts a suite of vehicle and driver centric applications and services. Skills/Experience: Industry software development experience with Microsoft Compact Framework .NET and C#. 3- 5 years of professional development experience is preferred. WinCE Mobile Development experience is absolutely required. Ability to work independently on complex work assignments The role of this person will be to write code for a windows mobile device in C#. They will be handling modifications, enhancements, must have expertise in C#, OO design and shells. Good command of the language is required. There will be C#, .Net, OO types of questions in various formats to define and some free form questions where the candidate must solve some basic programming needs. They are looking for people who have good practical, problem solving skills, C# syntex and a good grasp of programming. Experience with mobile device is a plus. Most time will be spent - constructing automated test framework using Nunit or MS test, design work done upfront, Agile methodology, Basic solutions, bug fixes, no interface with any users.
