Location: thousand oaks, CA Duration: long term rate: 40$/hr(MAX) *Position Info*: * Informatica Senior Developer/Architect * *Specific Responsibilities Include:* • Work with IS / Business team to get clarification on business requirements and provide effective ETL designs aligning with ETL best practices. • Work with Data Architecture team to ensure appropriate data structures are in place for effective ETL solution. • Ensuring the quality of ETL component in the overall BI solution. • Responsible for putting together High Level and Detailed Level ETL design and reviewing the same with architecture review team. • Responsible for coordinating the work with external teams, to ensure smooth ETL development process as per project schedule. • Responsible for creating the build package for any given ETL release and ensuring the integrity of the build. • Develop and deploy ETL job workflow with reliable error/exception handling and rollback framework • Support operations by identifying, researching and resolving performance and production issues. • Perform the unit testing, system integration testing and assist the business analysts with user acceptance testing. • Responsible for writing shell, PL/SQL utilities as required for automating various ETL development and execution tasks. *Qualifications*: *Required Skills* • Overall Minimum 5 years experience in BI and DW. • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with ability to work under little or no supervision. • Strong SQL skills with ability to use Analytical functions and tune SQL for better performance using EXPLAIN PLAN & TKPROF output. • Minimum 3 years experience with RDBMS like ORACLE & SQL Server, with fundamental understanding of partitioning and Index schemes. • Minimum *5* years experience working with INFORMATICA ETL tool. • Minimum 3 years of experience developing and optimizing Informatica ETL processes using Oracle and PL/SQL • Experience in doing ETL Design based on requirements with ability to track impact based on change in requirement. • Experience working in a ETL environment with trickling data feeds from external customers. • Experience in performing ETL Design & Code reviews with ability to guide other developers. • Experience in assessing the impact of changes outside of ETL on ETL code. • Proficiency in writing shell scripts with ability to setup ETL execution environment on UNIX. • Experience in Large DWH environments with ability to perform dimensional modeling to support ROLAP & MOLAP applications. • Demonstrate leadership in solving complex problems and developing solutions. *Preferred Skills* • Experience in healthcare Thanks Chand 972-360-7029 Whitegrass LLC --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "DIRECT CLIENT IT NEED" group.
