Please send back the profiles to** [email protected]* * * * * * * *Job Title : SAS Clinical developer* *Location: **Lawrenceville**,**NJ*** *Contract: 6 Months *** *Job Responsibilities* •Ability to work interactively with Clinical and PK Scientists on time critical projects for providing operational and programming support for DMCP studies around the PK sample data. This involves setting up custom data importation queries (using SQL) of PK/PD data to eToolbox from sources such as Watson LIMS, Oracle Clinical (and/or other sources of data), for analysis and reporting towards regulatory submissions. •Create SAS based applications from detailed specifications using SAS/AF, SAS with advanced skill set in these areas, for developing and enhancing eToolbox (commercially know an EP Series, a PK/PD analysis suite of applications) embedded reporting components. •Serve in the capacity of system administrator for eToolbox, and as a resource for users of eToolbox by providing guidance and addressing application related issues by interfacing with the COMPANY HelpDesk • Create applications from detailed specifications using specified programming language(s) • Code, test, debug, document and maintain programs • Good interpersonal and communication skills • Front end development (GUI interfaces) utilizing ODBC to connect to any Open Architecture RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems) – such as Oracle and Sybase • Analyzes application requirements and provides recommended design • Create detailed project outlines and application design specifications • Quality reviews of code developed by other development staff • Develops test plans • Designs for more complex integration with other applications/technologies • Must be able to both design and program *Job Requirements/Education:* At least 3 to 5 years of prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry and expertise in the following fields is required - •Advanced programming skills in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and SAS, SAS/AF a must. •Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11 requirements and computer systems validation (hands on experience in SDLC a must, for coding, testing/debugging, documenting and maintaining programs in production). •Familiarity and hands on experience with applications related to clinical trials such as Oracle Clinical, Watson LIMS preferred. •Good interpersonal and communication skills a must.
