POSITION DESCRIPTION - Update HIPAA transactions to be HIPAA 5010 compliant
Sales Optimization Project.
Knowledge of HIPAA EDI transactions especially the ANSI 837 claims & 835
Remit transactions
MANDATORY SKILLS -
Data mapping, querying, ability to understand complex system integrations
with various technology, SOA experience, strong communication skills with
ability to run JAD meetings and write quality documentation.
Strong Data Analyst, Systems Analysis, and communication skills:
Ability to run JAD sessions and work with diverse teams (business &
technical)
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS -
Familiar with SOA architecture design.
MANDATORY EXPERIENCE -
5 + years data mapping and general systems analysis. BA/BS degree or
greater.
Experience with data mapping of ANSI formats to proprietary formats (XML,
stored procedures, COBOL )
Experience with interpreting ANSI data - Familiar with the structure.
Familiar with EDI process of the ANSI transactions - Routing,
transformation, messaging, audit and validation services.
"look for these two pieces of important skills EDI transactions (270/271,
834/835 4 etc) with HIPAA compliance implementation of 5010. Most people
only have 4010 experience, but should be ramping up for the 5010.
If you find anyone with even that little bit of migrating from 4010 to 5010
standards it will be useful and helpful"
