The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) requires a Project Manger with Data Collections system experience and on technical side data architecture, data warehousing and application development. The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) has designed, built, and deployed some of the fundamental building blocks of a statewide longitudinal data system, including implementation of a unique student identifier and student-level data collection. While this system enables ISBE to be in a better position to support the tracking of individual students, the agency needs to take the critical steps of integrating all ISBE student-level data collection systems and connecting student-level data with data from other parts of the ISBE education enterprise (e.g., staff data, special education, and school district finance). The purpose of this Request for Sealed Proposal (RFSP) is to contract with a project manager to help guide the efforts of integrating data and overseeing the development of the data architecture for the ILDS. This fundamental integration is needed to support the analysis of the factors that contribute to student performance.
