Position: *Master Black Belt* Location: Cranston, RI – Face to face require after telephonic. Duration: *7 months* Rate: Open Master Black Belt preferably with experience implementing imaging / workflow in a transactional environment. 10 years experience in product design and / or high-volume manufacturing and / or continuous improvement / quality • 5 years experience managing business line and technical resources in a product lifecycle environment • 5 years experience in delivering Lean Six Sigma (LSS) projects for Services • Demonstrated experience in project / program management *Other Significant Role Requirements: **Any further key factors which have a bearing on a candidate’s ability to perform* • Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree preferred • Demonstrated experience with Strategic Operations Planning and Operations Management • Proven ability to create an operational metrics hierarchy that; aligns, controls and highlights opportunities for improvement in operational performance • Track record of successful DMAIC, DMADV, Kaizen, Lean and Work-Out projects /events *Technical Knowledge:* • Black Belt Certification required • Master Black Belt (LSS) Certification preferred • In-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite and Minitab (or equivalent) *People Management:* • Matrix management of cross-functional project teams. *Financial Management:* • Working knowledge of the 5-year NPV investment and benefit models to support business case development and Close phase of BCF Working in concert with our business lines, develop operational strategies that will satisfy customer demand and anticipate customer needs. • Leveraging strategic direction, create solution designs that will increase productivity and profitability through innovation, standardization, optimization and automation. • Incorporate the principles of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), agility and flexibility into our approach yielding solutions that are extensible, scalable and reusable. • Balance compliance with legal, regulatory, group standards and policies with delivering operable, manageable and sustainable solutions and provide probabilistic support of operational risk decision making within the above context. • Complete the Problem and Opportunity Step of Define Phase for the Business Change Framework (BCF). Successfully deliver the Problem Opportunity Statement (POS), Design Brief (DB) and receive approval to proceed to Options Definition Step. • Complete the Options Definition Step of Define Phase for BCF. Successfully deliver Vision, Options Analysis Recommendation and receive approval (Go) to proceed to Solution Design Step. • Complete Solution Design Step of Define Phase for the BCF. Successfully deliver Business Solution Part I, Business Solution Part II, the Group Business Case and receive the approval to Commence with the project. • Lead development of the Target Operating Model (TOM) to support Conduct phase of the BCF.
