*Role:*SAP APO PP/DS Functional Analyst –

4 month contract

Location: Irving, TX





*LOCAL to Dallas or within the state of Texas will get first preference.* *

*Knowledge Requirements:*

   1. At least 2 implementations with PP/DS in an integrated environment
   with ECC with deployment and go-live experience
   2. Should thoroughly understand PP/DS processes  and configuration
   3. Integration with ECC components especially with PP (prior experience
   with PP will be desirable).
   4. Experience with following PP/DS functionality required:
      - Block Planning
      - Characteristics dependent planning
      - Multi-resource planning.
      - Detailed Scheduling using DS board
      - Planning and Detailed scheduling heuristics
      - Interactive Planning
      - CIF experience required
   5. Experience with SNP and GATP functionality a plus:

·        SNP Heuristics and Optimizer

·        SNP Configuration

·        Deployment and TLB

·        APO Master data including product master, transportation lanes,
planning profiles, etc.

·        Characteristic dependent planning

·        GATP planning

·        Backorder Processing

·        Product Allocation within GATP.

   1. Experience with custom development and knowledge of user exits and
   BADI’s

Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field and 5-7 years related work
experience are required

APICS-CPIM or similar industry certification is preferred

5+ years of implementation experience with ECC, APO 4+ and/or R/3 in PP,
APO-DP, APO-SNP-APO-GATP & APO-PPDS

5+ years in a related industry (i.e., steel, recycling, process
manufacturing, warehousing) is recommended

Participation in at least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations

Experience in project management and requirements management

Must have a deep understanding of demand planning, supply network planning,
production planning and detailed scheduling, global available to promise and
core interface framework

Solid understanding of project lifecycle methodology processes

Cross functional experience in Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials
Management (MM)

Experience in a global multi-language and multi-currency SAP environment

Foreign Language – Polish is a plus



*Skill Requirements:*

A good working knowledge of software tools. Including MS Excel, MS Visio,
BMC Remedy, HP Quality Center and RWD uPerform.**

Solid background working with customers and related business processes

Ability to maximize standard package functionality to minimize enhancement
efforts

Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with a variety of levels
across the organization

Ability to identify and solve complex problems through research and
trouble-shooting

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize work and deliverables

Must be proficient in English



*Primary Responsibilities*:

This section provides the primary functions of the job. The responsibilities

Provides second level support for the North American SAP system and related
regional applications in the areas of Production Planning (PP), Advanced
Planner & Optimizer - Demand Planning (APO-DP) and Advanced Planner &
Optimizer - Supply Network Planning (APO-SNP), Advanced Planner & Optimizer
– Global Available to Promise (APO-GATP), and Advanced Planner & Optimizer –
Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (APO-PPDS).

Cooperates with key users at first level and global third level support with
regard to problem resolution and implementation of configuration changes and
enhancements to meet business requirements.

Serves as subject matter expert (SME) in the Plan-to-Produce process.

Provides user support, troubleshooting, error resolution, and explains how
SAP supports the business processes.

Manages the support of enterprise applications in line with corporate
standards and processes and provide complete “root cause analysis” for all
break/fix work.

Ensures fixes and/or changes for incidents and problems do not adversely
affect other business processes in their application area, other application
areas, or other project teams.

Ensures knowledge transfer is conducted within the team, organization and
the business for changes to their application area.

Understands and adheres to the Help Desk ticketing and resolution process
for incidents assigned to their application area.
