Thank you! *Requirements: * *Responsibilities* · Manage the daily Linux, Netapp filer and VERITAS NetBackup support of production and development groups/systems · Configure systems’ network parameters, and monitor system stability and performance · Help develop tools (scripts) to monitor and maintain systems · Rapidly scale systems to meet demand · Oversee and perform all system upgrades, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance · Performing all physical moves and managing any building power-downs · Oversee and update the Business Continuity Plan as necessary · Write extensive documentation · Working in a cross-functional environment with project managers, and application programmers to roll out new services *Qualifications Required* · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science · At least 5+ years of Linux/Unix system administration experience required · Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking · Knowledge of web servers, firewalls/security, NIS/NFS, DNS, MTAs · Programming/scripting ability (Bourne, bash, Perl, python, C) · RedHat Enterprise Linux ability to troubleshoot issues using utilities such as iostat, vmstat is required. · Experience in the production installation and support of Apache · Production experience with Oracle, MS-SQL, MySQL and environments · Experience with kickstart installation methods, including customizations. · Experience with various monitoring products; storage hardware (NetApp) and VERITAS NetBackup installation, configuration, performance tuning and troubleshooting · This person will be involved in performance tuning and capacity planning fundamentals · Candidates must have an understanding of security best practices such at minimal install sets, server hardening, and system patching · Excellent verbal and written skills · Must be detail oriented and able to work both independently and as a member of a team · Candidates must have a positive attitude and the ability to effectively work with others -- We offer genuine opportunities and try our best to provide legitimate feedback in a timely manner.
