Position: Database Architect Location: Wilmington, DE Duration: 3 months CTH Job Description: At least 5 years experience working as a database architect, 3 years as DW appliance database architect Current hands experience on DW appliance as a DBA, supporting production environment for at least 3 years Able to mentor inhouse DBAs in a hands on capacity on required DBA tasks Able to tune DW appliance, deep knowledge of tuning techniques Able to create diagrams on future state technical architecture including all servers in the architecture Able to develop disaster recovery strategy and architecture At least one year experience with hands on disaster recovery environment for a DW appliance Strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, UDFs, UDAs, Oracle Stored Procedures Prior experience converting from Oracle to DW appliance At least 2 years, prior experience developing Database architecture frameworks for a data warehouse appliance environment, prefer someone with a starter kit of leverageable database architecture designs from prior engagements.
