Individual needs to be highly motivated and the Go-Getter Type. Individual needs very strong communication, organizational, Project Management and analysis skills. This individual needs to be able to work in a complex, multi-tasking type environment, understanding requirements from the business sponsor (asking many questions) and coordinating efforts across many VZW internal teams and across external vendors.* The candidate will be Technical Project Manager for a very High profile product that we are developing and will be coming in to the project during the Approach/Analysis phase. They will be point of contact for all Project Management needs for the High profile project. The candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining and tracking the detailed project plan, managing timelines, identifying and tracking all dependencies and integration points and reporting status to senior management on a regular basis. The candidate will be responsible for keeping the project on track and bringing the product to launch on time in the latter part of the year. * * *Required Skills: *Technical Project or Product Management experience required. *Must be able to manage projects and timelines independently with minimum supervision * • Must be very proficient with MS Project and be able to create and maintain project plans for large-scale IT projects with many dependencies and integration points. • Experience managing critical Web applications is a must. *Must understand and be able to speak to* *technical architecture/design and technical integrations (e.g. APIs, XML)* at a high level. • Experience on managing and bringing products to market is a big plus. • IT experience required. Must be familiar with software development lifecycle. Must have experience coordinating and working with multiple internal and external teams.
