This project started last year. It is a rewrite/conversion of their main care management system. It is written in FoxPro and is being converted to Visual FoxPro, .Net and C#. Contractors, they need to be able to come in and hit the ground running. We only provide minimal training, limited to our systems. Definitely no technical training. Would like to see experience working in large systems. *MUST HAVE SKILLS:* - *Candidates must have experience in Visual FoxPro running against a SQL Server database. * - *All candidates must score well on a technical assessment to be considered* - *Experience developing in one of Microsoft’s visual development suites (VB, VB.NET, C#) is required*. - *Experience in Microsoft SQL Server development is required.* - Need to have good communication and documentation skills - Must possess a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience), plus one to three years of systems analysis and programming, or equivalent related job experience. - Software development cycle knowledge (design, code, source control, quality assurance, test and deployment). - Experience with relational database systems is required. - Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to work well within a team and project environment. - Background must demonstrate the ability to operate effectively within a complex, dynamic environment. - Ability to work under pressure on a number of different projects simultaneously.
