The consultant will be responsible for providing functional expertise and will take the lead on the business side of the project. The selected individual will partner with key business users at all levels of the organization through the CFO and other C-level employees to understand their business challenges. The consultant will gather and analyze requirements and to make ‘Best Practice’ recommendations on how to map financial and accounting data - particularly inventory balances *- from a legacy application into Oracle v.11.5.10.2*. The candidate will evaluate the current processes and then determine the best way to convert and map the data to bring it into Oracle. Candidates will possess strong functional experience working with a variety of Oracle Applications in Release 11.5.10.2. The best candidate will have an excellent Oracle Financials background including *strong GL, Inventory and AP module* intimacy. This position will require a deep accounting knowledge so an established Accounting background is critical. The selected consultant will be able to work effectively with 3rd party partners as well as internal constituents, such as the IT department and the IT Production Support team, the DBA team, the QA team, etc. to insure strategy, design, and implementation continuity.
