General description: Seeking a Teradata Physical Data Modeler with
a.. hands-on lead level experience in the design and implementation of an
b.. Application/User Access layer for Reporting and Analytical solutions
c.. from multi-subject 3NF Data Warehouse using the Inmon Approach.
d.. Works under the direction of the Supervisor, Data Modeler.
Specific experience:
a.. 10 years relational database design
b.. Demonstrated experience designing/implementing physical data models for
Reporting and Analytical solutions
c.. At least 5 years of Teradata in the last 8 years (Teradata v2r6 or
later); Certified Teradata Professional preferred
d.. Demonstrated experience in at least 2 functional roles (data architect,
modeler, BI/SQL report coding) with the ability to generate complex DDL
e.. Proficiency with data modeling tools (Erwin preferred)
f.. High proficiency using Teradata tools (Visual Explain, DBQL,
ANSI SQL, Multiload, SQL Assistant, PMON and Teradata Administrator)
g.. 5+ years of hands-on experience coding SQL/DDL
High proficiency in SQL query optimization
