Location: Santa Clara CA Duration: 6+ months Rate: $45/hr.MAX Three people are required - two software engineers with C/C++/C# knowledge and one with Windows CE/BSP knowledge. I have included the specs from the client for these positions for your reference. . 2 SW engineers in SCLA. The project is in a very active phase and needs people who can hit the ground running. Basically the product is a data acquisition and analysis product, and involves a lot of database and .Net programming, as well as sophisticated GUI design (3-D metrology etc). The engineers do not need to have all the all the skills/technical experience but should be highly competent in some of them. Would expect the experience range to be in the 4 - 8 yrs range.One of these engineers will be filling a lead position so needs to be a good communicator and technically astute. Responsibilities - Interfaces with external and internal customers to determine requirements and schedules - Defines software specifications - Designs software components in different areas of data analyis, including data acquisition, database design, data visualization, statistical analysis, decision making - Designs user interface - Develops new code and unit-tests, performs troubleshooting and bug fixes - Develops software documentation Required technical experience - Experience in SQL or other databases - At least one programming language (C, C++, C#) Desired technical experience - .Net - UML - Design Patterns - Unit Test - User Interface Design - Statistical Process Control - Data aquisition - Real-Time control Skills - Skills and abilities to perform the job include strong analytical skills - Strong oral and written communication skills - Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills - Detailed oriented - Exercises mature judgment - Ability to work in a team - Ability to work independently - Ability to influence other people - Ability to act as mentor - Ability to lead and/or supervise projects Education - BS or MS in Computer Science 2. 1 Sw engineer in SCLA. Working on Windows CE BSP. Should have prior experience and proficient in using WinCE as well as in creating BSPs-- writing WinCE device drivers, benchmarking performance, determining root cause for bottlenecks and resolving these bottlenecks. BSP is for a standard x86 based PC with multiple ethernet ports, DeciveNet scanners, and EtherCat.
