Position: Client is  looking a Datacom/DB DBMS  Resource 
 
 Job Description:
Must have 10 plus years of experience
Contractor will take task direction and day-to-day supervision from the
Datacom OIT project manager. Prepare project plans, assist project
developement team in design and programming, create logical and physical
database design. Contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all
database accesses utilize efficient coding techniques and conform to OIT
standards. Responsible for reviewing all SQL Plans for online and batch
programs to determine that all programs are using the most efficient
database access paths. Accommadate knowledge transfer to OIT Data Base
Administration staff where applicable. 
40 hours/week, Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 5 pm). Available, as needed by
pager, to support 24/7 environment during off-hour problem response..
