POSITION :WebSphere Administrator LOCATION :New York LENGTH :6+ Month Contract Job Description: design and installation of Websphere Application Server, Deployment Enterprise applications, installation and configuration new application, configuring and modifying application content, monitoring, optimizing, tuning and troubleshooting application and implementing cluster services to perform load balancing and increase availability of the application. Knowledge of Websphere Horizontal/vertical Clustering, Webseal, and Tivoli Access Manager. Preferred Skills: The candidate must have proven experience with Websphere version 5.1 and 6.0 running on AIX. Also a basic understanding of AIX administration including basic shell scripting is required. Excellent communications (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required. Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies is highly desirable: MQSeries, BMC Patrol Websphere KM, Pervasive Data Integrator and Unix shell scripting.
