Several Microsoft technologies including but not limited to MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel), Email, Operating Systems, and Data Base, are foundational components enabling Federated's business. Managing the life-cycle of these technologies is complex due to their inter-dependencies and integration. Several new technologies (Reporting, SharePoint, Analysis and Excel Services) are in development soon to transition to production, which will further enable the business. Due to the inter-dependencies and integration with current and future Microsoft products, a specialized senior technology position is required to sustain our strategic application of these technologies going forward. · Projects scheduled in 2008/2009 timeframe that will leverage Microsoft Technologies include: · Equity Information Synthesis (.NET/Sharepoint/SQLServer) · Re-engineered FedPortS (.NET/Excel Server) · Re-engineered FINDERS Inquiry (.NET) · Fixed Income Research Library (.NET/Sharepoint/SQLServer) · Automate Step-Out Trade Sheet Process (.NET) · Automate TIP Process (Sharepoint/SQLServer) · Planning & Forecasting Tool (Excel Server) · Investment Management Personnel Data Collection (.NET) · EDGENet Reporting Upgrade (MS Reporting).
