LOCATION: SAN FRANCISCO, CA DURATION: 6 MONTHS PLUS HOURLY RATES: $55.00 -- Max Face to Face after initial telephonic Need a Sr. candidate & one who has min. score of 3.5 in Brainbench certification, which is a must Description: Our client is seeking an individual to act as a web engineer for development of our strategic business applications. In general this individual will: * Act in the highest technical level technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for the most complex computer applications and/or application initiatives. * Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools and existing designs. * Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors * Plans, performs and acts as the escalation point for the most complex platform design, coding and testing. * Leads most complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts * Acts as an expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing and implementation process. Expert Skills Required: * Must have experience with designing, building and deploying enterprise software built in Java. * Excellent Java, J2EE * Experience with J2EE based large scale enterprise software * Significant hands-on experience developing scalable, high-performance J2EE Solutions * Development & Implementation using Java Platform & J2EE standards, including open system tools. * Significant hand on experience with the Agile methodology. OO Design, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Code Reviews. * Experience with software design patterns, especially the MVC pattern. * Strong application design skills and the ability to represent those designs in UML. * Significant experienced with Spring, Hibernate, J2EE, Cruise Control, CVS, Subversion, HTML, JavaScript * Extensive experience with mid-tier server side technologies. Experienced in multi-tier, component-based architecture and design. * Experience using SOA technologies such as SOAP, WSDL, XML Schemas, etc. * Very strong team-interaction skills * Excellent communication skills * Excellent problem solving skills Intermediate Skills Required: * Experience working with web services * Architecture experience with multi-tier enterprise level applications.
