Key Responsibilities: a.. Own the build and deployment scripts and tools. b.. Interact with stakeholders in Dev and Config teams to seek automation opportunities and understand new automation requirements. c.. Acquire application-specific knowledge from the Dev team for build, packaging and deployment. d.. Evaluate and/or develop new tools and features to improve the build process and improve productivity. Required skills: a.. Advanced knowledge of build tools (MSBUILD) and source control systems (VSTF). b.. Knowledge of software installation and deployment technologies (WIX, MSI, etc). c.. Experience writing automated scripts (Batch, Perl, and SQL) and standard coding and debugging techniques. d.. Working knowledge of Windows OS and enterprise software configuration (IIS, SQL, etc). Qualifications: a.. A minimum of 3 or more years in the software field. b.. Ability to prioritize daily workflow and work on numerous projects simultaneously with attention to detail is required. c.. Familiarity with source code tools/process, bug tracking, code review and other common development activities. d.. Familiarity with product development cycles preferred.
