*Sr. C / C++ Consultants*

*Duration: 12 months*

Customer is seeking a self motivated BS/MS Computer Science graduate with
advanced C/C++ skills to work on building key software components of the
next generation trading infrastructure for a rapidly growing financial
services organization in New York. The position is based out of the *San
Francisco** bay area*. The engineer will take ownership of the selected
components and drive the development and release of the components. Required
skills:

   - 7+ years of system level programming experience
   - Self motivated and detail oriented.
   - Proficiency in multi-threaded system level programming in *C/C++ and
   .NET* on Windows/Linux
   - A good understanding of networking/messaging concepts e.g. TCP/IP,
   socket programming.
   - Familiarity with a product development lifecycle.
   - Experience in developing infrastructure products.
   - Experience in working with or authoring messaging products such as
   Tibco RV/EMS, 29West LBM/UME is a definite plus.
   - Understanding and experience with relational databases, especially
   Oracle, is a definite plus.

There are several projects lined up. The initial projects (reaching into end
of Q1 '09) require C/C++ skills following which one of the resources will
branch off into ..NET work while the other will move onto additional C/C++
projects. At that point, additional resources with the same skill set as
above may be needed. Since initial projects are C/C++, the priority would be
to get resources with C/C++ experience and skill.
