Requirement:
Title: Senior Test Engineer
Basic Qualifications: 4 year BS in EE or CS from an accredited university
Department Description:
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
The Test and Verification Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Test Automation systems. The automated test systems will test the key capabilities, including the scalability, of our wireless security and monitoring systems.
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
• Experience developing C/C++JAVA is must applications and libraries for embedded devices and servers
• Experience with scripting languages such as Perl and Python
• Experience working with embedded operating systems: Linux, VxWorks, ECOS, etc.
• Ability to conceptualize, design and develop modular, maintainable software.
• Good understanding of the concepts behind solid software design: Abstraction, Modularity, Design Patterns, Representation Invariants, etc.
• Strong Networking Knowledge in the Internet Protocols area
• 802.11 wireless, and/or security experience or knowledge preferred.
• Work experience through complete software project delivery cycle.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Self starter, takes initiative, identifies and completes tasks; Goal driven
• Professional with ability to properly handle confidential information
• Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
