Position: Teradata DBA (Citizens only) Location: Leonardtown, MD Duration: 12 Months MUST BE A US CITIZEN (NO EXCEPTIONS) Job Description: Responsible day to day administration of computerized databases. Responsible for quality control and auditing of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data. Works with users to resolve data conflicts and inappropriate data usage. Maintains corporate data dictionary. Reports to the Database Manager/Administrator. This is the entry level position, requiring technical training. Typically requires knowledge of UNIX, 3000-5000 processor platforms, NT, Oracle. Additional Job Description: Location is Leonardtown, MD Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM. This is a Teradata DBA position. The successful candidate must have 3 - 5 years Teradata DBA experience. Experience in another database IS NOT an acceptable substitute. The candidate must have experience in adding users, establishing roles, creating database structures and understand how to get the Teradata database to perform well.
