Requirement: Job Title : Red hat/Linux Administrator Location : Beltline Road Irving, Texas Project Duration : 12 Month(s) Est Start Date : ASAP Skill Set : Administration of web systems on Red hat Linux including Apache and My SQL. Primary role includes the development of a self service portal based on LAMP. This position will also provide development and maintenance of the client's portal. . Develop and upgrade of the existing portal . Administration of Red hat Linux web servers including Apache and My SQL . Development of database-based content delivery using Postgres, MS SQL, and Oracle . Documentation of processes and procedures . Technical duties will include but are not limited to the following tasks: . Maintenance of the existing portal environment using Open Source tools such as Joomla . Build, configure, and manage web system components, including Linux, Apache, My SQL, and PHP . Demonstrate secure coding practices . Troubleshoot and resolve application errors involving network and data services . Develop scripts to solve problems, generate reports, and automate tasks . Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills to explain and document ideas One or more of these certifications is preferred: Red hat Linux, PHP, My SQL or related certifications.
