Please respond to [email protected] Face to Face is Must Job Title: Project Manager - Systems Management Location: Maiden Lane, New York, NY Duration: 6 Months SCOPE OF SERVICES The Senior Project Manager will work closely with functional business groups to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of systems solutions deployed in support of business goals and objectives, The consultant would provide the following services that include, but are not limited to the following: Lead the planning and implementation of projects. Liaise with the staff of technical managers. Facilitate the definition of the project scope, goals, and deliverables. Define project tasks and resource requirements. Develop full scale project plans. Collaboratively work with technical managers to assemble and coordinate project staff dedicated to the project. Manage project budget. Manage project resource allocation. Plan and schedule project timelines. Track project deliverables using appropriate tools. Provide directions and support to project team. Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders. Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs. Provide project evaluations and assessment of results. Assist Senior Management in the evaluation of project management tools, the assessment of project management reporting approaches and standards. Class Description: The primary purpose of this position is planning and managing of the delivery of business systems solutions and associated application technical support services of HPD/TSD objectives and ongoing operations. This includes systems and project planning, estimating, execution, implementation and ongoing support SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's or above degree PMI membership The consultant will be required to have his/her own voice/data activated blackberry based cellular phone or equivalent during the contract period. THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY Mandatory Skill/Expertise Minimum of 4 years professional experience as a project manager handling multiple projects. Demonstrate understanding of project management life-cycle methodology. Strong collaboration, relationship management communication and written skills. Good judgment, logical thinker and detail orientated. Ability to drive projects to completion. THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS DESIRABLE BUT NOT REQUIRED: Desirable Skill/Expertise Familiarity with Oracle databases architecture.
