*No. of positions*: 1 *Location*: Richmond, VA *Duration of assignment*: 6 months (extendable) *Start Date*: IMMEDIATE *Rate*: ~ $6.25k/month *Job Description*: Candidate needs to have 8-10yrs of IT with 5+yrs as Test Lead experience Should have experience working in onsite /offshore model u Lead cross-functional QA efforts, driving quality practices into work products throughout the lifecycle of a project. u Expert-level experience with QA function within agile development environment u Serve as a liaison with the business community and IT to ensure that changes are understood. u Build essential relationships with clients business SMEs and their managers, project leaders, and IT staff. u Ensure balance is achieved between time to market, cost, scope, and risk. u Understand the business functionality, business requirements and technical specifications of the application(s) under test (Genworth will be accountable for providing business requirements, functional knowledge and technical specifications of the application). u Provide multiple options for the sizing estimates of project deliverables. u Develop, track, and report project level status and other performance metrics to appropriate business and IT leaders. u Lead clients cross-functional test teams to deliver w2w test solutions. u Lead offshore test team to deliver w2w test solutions u Establish and maintain standards (Test Data libraries, Test cases, Test scripts and the Testing process) in collaboration with Genworth. u Ensure adherence to standards (Test Data libraries, Test cases, Test scripts and the Testing process). u Become a test SME when none exists or is available in the business. u Adhere to the Change Management Process. u Build Test strategies/Test Plans in collaboration with client. u Support and facilitate Test planning and Test management meetings. u Get the Test strategies/Test Plans reviewed and signed off from client. u Report on the Testing activity. u Support and facilitate Defect review/Issue management meetings. u Co-ordination of all Testing activities. u Administer and maintain testing tools and assets (develop processes and training documents for the same). u Conduct user trainings and Support users in daily test tool activities. u Provide input for improvements and enhancements to quality strategy. u Provide mentorship and guidance to individual team members. u Advise on, and implement industry best practices through ongoing research, benchmarking, professional organizations, and conferences. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "direct reqs" group.
