Experience
* 3 - 5 years of formal software testing experience in planning,
writing, and executing functional and system tests of distributed
systems within a structured software development process.
* PeopleSoft v8.8 Human Capital Management application
environment:
- PeopleSoft HCM modules - PeopleSoft Human Resources,
Payroll, Base Benefits, and Training Administration, SQR, PeopleTools,
PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Workflow, Message
Agent, Query/Crystal;
* Experience in a Oracle environment using SQL/PLSQL;
* Experience in a UNIX environment including script writing;
* Complete understanding of the PeopleSoft 8.8 process flow for
HCM;
* Complete understanding of the PeopleSoft 8.8 database;
* Ability to effectively decipher and comprehend both technical
and business documentation
* Ability to multitask and adjust to changing project schedules
and priorities
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Prior test automation experience using Rational Robot and/or
Mercury QTP.
Responsibilities
The candidate will review technical and functional documentation as the
basis for identifying appropriate test approaches; create, document, and
execute test plans, test scripts, and data validation activities to
provide tangible evidence that the application under test meets business
requirements and quality objectives.
