Description: Acts in a high-level technical role by consulting with client and IT management in the resolution of highly complex, technical problems involving creation of Web sites and e-commerce applications and their integration into the bank's existing computer systems. Upgrades and maintains the systems that employ scalable, advanced technologies and methods to integrate Web systems with existing systems, enabling the creation of new Web enterprises or expanding existing business onto the Web. Tracks the development and implementation of the Web application systems support infrastructure for e-commerce, Web-based customer support and Web interfaces to databases. Directs gathering statistics to assist in determining hardware requirements and communication bandwidth to support projected transaction volumes and response time and system availability targets. Typically acts as a project/team lead The ideal candidate we are looking for should have the following experience. - SME on JBoss/Apache - Install and configure JBoss Application Server (clustering) and other J2EE software products and fixes on Linux/ UNIX platforms. - Support the application development cycle which involves Application code deploy, troubleshooting, and understanding of any infrastructure problems. - Tune J2EE Application servers to optimize performance. - Support production implementations and resolve any production problems, support application releases, monitor production environment, participate in production problem calls, resolve any problems related to Middleware. - Should know third party J2EE monitoring tools like Wily Introscope. - Flexible with work hours and willing to work in shift. - Handle request tickets from our users that need some type of Middleware support. (Install, configuration, clustering and troubleshooting) - Must have worked with third party applications. Preference will be given to Lombardi Teamwork's. - Capable of working with minimal supervision. - Knowledge on IBM Infosphere DataStage needed- Some knowledge on Shell Scripting is required to modify and maintain the deploy scripts. Typically acts as a project/team lead Minimum Qualifications: -Experience installing, administering and monitoring tasks related to the support of WebLogic Application Server and Weblogic Integration Server 9.2 or greater in UNIX and Windows Environment. -Should be comfortable in working with Linux, AIX, Solaris, and Windows operating systems. -Provide 24/7 support to production servers when on call -Willing to work alternate Shift including one day of the weekend. - Ability to troubleshoot problems and analyze performance statistics related to web architecture and applications in conjunction with development team, networking team, and vendor. -Able to install and tune web servers such as SunOne 6.1 and apache. Should know SSL fundamentals. - Strong communications skills, both in writing and speaking. -Work independently and also as a team member. -Mentor junior team members in day to day activity.
