I have an immediate need for a Senior Analyst, who will be responsible for creating the design document, for the redesigned external data intake application. The must haves are as follows: ** * * *Skills required* *8+ years of overall system delivery experience 4+ Years of Oracle PL/SQL coding experience 4+ Years of Oracle database design experience 4+ of Java coding experience. (for remediation) Experience with IBM DataStage or Informatica (Datastage is what they will be using and it’s preferred.) * *Knowledge of EDI data transmission standards* * * · Contract: 4 months · Start date: asap · DL: $50 · Interview process: Phone then face to face. The project is called Boomerang or Smart Steps migration. It’s a smaller project which is to redesign the external data intake. The new application will use newer technologies, have additional functionality and will sit on primarily a mixed Windows and Unix platform. The intake data includes claim, eligibility, pharmacy and more. He needs 2 resources to work together on this project. One of them is this very senior analyst position and the other will be responsible for higher level architecture. The scope of this Senior Analyst position (a hands on technical resource) will be to evaluate the current state (Oracle PL/SQL, Java,) do analysis and the requirement gathering for a redesigned replacement application. The new application will make use of SOA, enterprise and domain services on disparate platforms such as Java/WebSphere and the mainframe, EDI data intake, Enterprise Service Bus, and BPM. Will be working with systems and business analysts and application owners, and will focus on the design and specification of the new application. Will be creating a detailed design document, a proof of concept, which is the end deliverable. (The next phase of the project will be to produce the application.) May coordinate with other managers to integrate project with other applications. Skilled in written communications. Demonstrated history of strong communication and collaboration abilities in a highly matrixed environment. Strong Planning abilities - demonstrated history of setting milestone dates for a group of project tasks and ensuring their completion. *A good plus:* Experience with an ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) and BPM (Business Process Management.) XML and Schema modeling Experience with transformation/standardization of disparate data sources and formats. Knowledge of Service Orientated Architecture patterns/approaches.
