Responsibilities: Software development for Cable Router product to include DOCSIS protocol, Broadcom chip driver support for various projects. BS Computer Science
Specific Knowledge/Skills
Must Have:
7-10 years of software development experience with C
Strongly Preferred:
Direct Experience with Real-Time Embedded software development and debugging on multi-tasking systems
Experienced in the following: engineering specifications, including requirements, architecture and design, peer review process, unit and integration testing
Telecommunication experience
ClearCase/ClearQuest knowledge
Working UNIX knowledge
Driver experience, Broadcom chip knowledge
Preferred:
Embedded OS experience, Integrity OS and/or VxWorks
RF experience
DOCSIS protocol experience
IP Routing Protocol experience including DHCP, ARP, TCP/IP, SNMP
Excellent debug skills
