Description

As a Stellent Architect, you'll help leading companies solve critical
business needs by leveraging Oracle?s Universal Content Management (UCM)
solution. You will be involved in the full lifecycle from analysis and
planning to development and deployment. Many exciting short term (3-9 month)
projects will broaden your industry experience and continuously enhance your
skills with new challenges.
Candidates will implement solutions to the specific needs of our various
clients utilizing Oracles UCM platform as well as integrating with other
technical solutions. Use your creative and practical insight to translate
business needs into effective technical solutions using several core
technologies: the full product suite from Oracle as well as other industry
leading technologies such as Interwoven, BEA, Microsoft, IBM and related
technologies like XML, Java, .NET, HTML, XML/XSLT, Database and various Open
Source frameworks.
Implement content focused solutions including web content management,
document management, digital asset management, records management, and
portal technologies to meet on and offline business needs. Design, develop,
integrate, and customize UCM utilizing development technologies such as
XML/XSLT, Java, Microsoft/.NET, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, etc. Implement
solutions within multiple architectural environments including, UNIX, NT,
AIX, LINUX, Apache, SQL Server, Oracle, IIS, etc. Analyzing client processes
and technologies through needs analysis, business process engineering, and
architectural design. Suggest innovative solutions to business
problems/processes that leverage technology to provide differentiation,
efficiency improvements, and better user experiences.Training of end-users,
developers, and system administrators. Develop documentation for
requirements analysis, design specifications, user?s guides, installation
guides, custom training materials, or project work plan. Support sales and
client management activities from a technical and solution
perspective.Participate in overall project management, time estimates, and
resource scheduling. Travel to client sites as needed.
Some experience implementing Oracle?s Universal Content Management Platform
preferred with a focus on Content Server, Digital Asset Management, Site
Publisher, and Site Studio modules. Experience with other ECM solutions or a
desire to learn will be considered.
At least two years implementing enterprise content management or document
management software or a passion and desire to focus on content technologies
and solutions.
Five or more years total experience in IT.
Deep knowledge of content infrastructure technologies and processes
(syndication, aggregation, tagging, distribution, collaboration, etc.).
Web site design (GUI tools, "user experience" designing, site structuring)
and web technologies (HTML, Javascript, CGI, CSS, XML/XSLT, etc.).
Java (J2EE, EJB, JSP ), Microsoft (C#, VB.Net, C++), and/or other languages
including (Shell scripting, Perl, PHP, etc).
Familiarity with architecting solutions (3-tier, H/W & S/W recommendations,
load balancing).
Database administration/design/development (T/SQL, installation,
tablespaces, Stored Procedures, etc).
Familiarity with Enterprise Application Integration (e.g. TIBCO, WebMethods,
Oracle, Microsoft) and ERP systems a plus.
Experience with various application, web servers, personalization engines,
commerce platforms, and/or portals (BEA, Microsoft, Oracle, IBM,
Apache/Tomcast, etc)
Experience with search engines (Verity, Autonomy, Google Appliance, FAST,
Endeca, etc.), analytics (VisualSciences, Omniture, Google, WebSideStory,
WebTrends, etc.), transaction processing (CyberSource, ClearCommerce, etc.)
directory services/security (Netegrity, LDAP, Active Directory) a plus.
Written communication (requirements spec, system design, user guides).
Oral communication (customer interaction, requirements analysis, training).
