Position: OLAP Hyperion/EssBase Developer Location: Plano, TX (Locals only) Duration: 6 Months a.. 10+ years of OLAP b.. 7-10 years with EssBase - with expertise in Web Analysis (very important!!) c.. 10-15+ years IT EssBase/Hyperion Planning developer a.. EssBase System 11 (or at least System 9) Integration services/Shared services/ EssBase Studio b.. API/MXL/ EssBase scripts c.. Hyperion Smartview report design d.. Hyperion Planning administration/configuration, WebForms design e.. basic SQL skills - Create/modify cube structure (outline, scripts, DLR etc..), create process to load dimensions and measures (Integration services +creation of MXL/API scripts for automation) f.. Create/modify reports in Smartview. g.. Configure/perform administrative tasks in Hyperion Planning. Create/Modify WebForms. h.. Very skilled at Dimensional "D" Cube i.. Very skilled at UI Flow Design Notes from Interview: - Along with the above information, candidates will need to be experts with Web Analysis. - Need to be able to understand requirements for reporting needs; and build reports using Web Analysis - Build and customize reports using Web Analysis - Experts in EssBase, have also gone through implementations & upgrades - Per Mgr, the current team members aren't strong enough with Web Analysis; Candidates must be solid with Web Analysis - Per Mgr; this is mostly front end work, she has strong enough people on the backend - ONLY PEOPLE THAT ARE EXPERTS ON THE FRONT END Thanks & Regards, Joel Garner J Technical Recruiter Data Group, Inc.
