Required Skills: This is for a 6-18 month contract in San Francisco: Need someone strong with Both STRUTS 1.2 and 2.0 Large client WebLogic 9.2 - deployment on a web server (Servlets/ deployment experience is needed) Presentation layer is written in JSP - struts/ MVC application framework; must be strong with JSP to get past the beginning of the interview. EJB, Hibernate interacting with Oracle 10g DB. Remove EJB1/ Caster dependencies and possibly upgrade struts from 1.2 to 2.0. - Quite a few XML frameworks are in place and they would like to remove them and move to a newer XML handling framework. Adding new pages and fields to the application - must be comfortable with Struts 1.2 - JSP/ JSTL core libraries:, JavaScript, struts Validator, tags, etc. 2-3 years of writing Rich User Interfaces Struts 2.0 Framework required - major changes to the Tag libraries that can/ cannot be used for 2.0. API is different.
