The primary responsibilities for the candidate will be designing and implementing Architecture tools to manage the development and runtime environment, thus a strong and active coding ability is required. The candidate must have an up to date knowledge of current and emerging technologies, TFS, Mashup, Cloud computing, Azure, BI, SQL 2008 etc. with the emphasis on Microsoft platform. The candidate will also work with the architecture team to define new architecture processes including software development. The candidate will help develop architecture future strategies/objectives and experience the Software Development Life Cycle is required. The candidate must possess effective communication skills as he/she is required to educate the applications area on the emerging technologies as they make business sense. Again, a strong emphasis on communications as the candidate is required to work directly with team members to define, refine, and document requirements as well as translate those requirements into design specification and onward to implementation. Leadership and mentoring skills are also required. Candidate must be knowledgeable in all Microsoft technologies including Visual Studio, SQL Server, Active Directory, TFS, .NET Frameworks, WCF, WF, and WPF. Candidate must have thorough knowledge in current methodology leaders such as Scum, Extreme Programming, United Software Development Process, CMMI etc Candidate must know about supporting tools including open source. Prior experience with MSE (Microsoft Service Engine is a plus). Candidate must be an active developer and consultant.
