Systems Engineer will be responsible for the identification and documentation of detailed system level requirements for an Application Services Gateway hosting the following applications: - Application Performance Monitoring - Analytics - Application QoS - Application Filtering This position requires detailed knowledge of high speed, distributed system level architectures including data path, control plane and management application requirements: - Ethernet (LAG / LACP / VLAN) - IP (IPv4 / IPv6 / IP-IP tunneling, IGPs) - Redundancy schemes (Interface / Control) - Traffic Management Schemes (classification / queuing / scheduling / policing) - Encryption (IPSec / SSL) - RMON / APM Monitoring - Element Management (User Interface / SNMPv3) The candidate would ideally already have direct experience doing detailed systems planning on Application Monitoring, DPI or Analytics products. The work product of this position will be a detailed System Requirements Document. Candidates who have the defined relevant skills to do requirements work or design products.
