For Immediate Consideration send the resume's to [email protected] Business Intelligence Developer Boca Raton, FL 6 Months Description: The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for administering our current Data Warehouse as well proving any support to end users of the Data Warehouse. This individual will also create any data marts and/or reports that are required by the business. Principal Accountabilities: * Design and Create SSIS Packages, Data Warehouse, Data Cubes for departmental reporting. * Setup database backups, restores and database maintenance tasks and develop scripts and stored procedures to automate such tasks. * Develop and maintain SQL scripts, schedule batch jobs, setup and monitor alerts * Perform SQL installations, upgrades and conversions. * Design and review of changes to databases in both production and test environments * Set standards and document procedures Technical Skills Required: * Knowledge MS SQL for SQL 2000/2005 Editions * Data modeling and normalization to ensure that databases are designed to promote data integrity * Translate the logical data model into a physical database implementation * Assist programmers in building and editing test data * Strong knowledge of optimization and performance tuning * Ability to write Stored Procedures/DTS Packages/Jobs in SQL * Experience in Process Development, Documentation and excellent writing skills * Real world knowledge and experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Integration Services, Analysis Services and Reporting Services * Mastery of Transact SQL Language (TSQL), stored procedure, knowledge of MDX query * Mastery of Database Administration for all SQL 2000/2005 Editions * Strong skills in hardware architecture, Microsoft Operating Systems and networking * Knowledge of database monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning * Strong knowledge of DTS/SSIS Packages, Maintenance Plans and Replications Experience Required: * Minimum of five years of SQL experience * Min 2 years experience in Data Mining * Solid experience with SSIS package, OLAP and KPI * Successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of SQL database development with MS SQL Server 2000/2005. * MCITP: Business Intelligence Developer a plus. * Excellent analytic, teamwork and Communications skills. * Experience in process development and documentation of complex data cubes for a medium to large company reporting infrastructure. * Candidate must have the capacity to handle a highly paced environment that an automated order processing system will provide.
