Primary Skill QA Analyst Other Skills Unix, Oracle, DNS, Mercury suite Duration 6 months to Perm # of Positions 4 Position Type Contract Location Sterling, VA Description --------*---- Only EADS/GC/US Citizens ----------------* -----------------*This is a Temp to Perm position* -- --------------*Only in-person interviews only* -- ----------- Responsibilities :•Write test plans based on marketing requirements documents •Write test suites from development product requirement document •Develop automated tests based on written test cases •Design and implement automated test cases with QA test tools (Mercury products preferred) •Manage QA testing plans by tracking key QA milestones and deliverables •Collaborate with the Product Management and Development staff to derive test design and specifications •Prepare detailed test reports •Work extensively with offshore and outsourced teams. Qualifications: •4 year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent technical training and professional work experience •5+ years Quality Assurance experience •1+ years experience creating complete system testing suites •1+ years programming experience with 4-test languages. Mercury suite preferred •Strong knowledge of QA process and methodologies •Ability to create clear, concise defect submissions •Ability to troubleshoot software defects and identify root cause •Experience testing products with RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle) •Working knowledge of SQL preferred •Working knowledge of DNS, helpful •Excellent written and verbal communications skills -- Mark Syscom Technologies, Inc.
